Who we are

Baile is a small business based in Headford, Co. Galway. If you have any questions about your information, email hello@bailesites.ie.

What we collect

When you use our contact form or email us, we get the details you give us: your name, town, group, email address, phone number if you add it, and your message.

We use these only to reply to you and to talk about a website for your town. We don’t sell them, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Messages sent through the form are stored in a database on Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and emailed to our inbox.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. We don’t use Google Analytics or social media trackers.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process basic technical information (like your IP address) to keep the site running and secure.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you’re a person, not a spam bot. It looks at basic information from your browser to do this, doesn’t use tracking cookies, and isn’t used for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages for as long as we’re talking with you, and for a reasonable time after in case you get back in touch. Ask us any time and we’ll delete them.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email us and we’ll sort it out. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission.

Town sites

Each town site we build is owned by the town’s group, who are responsible for the information collected on it. Town sites have no tracking cookies by default.
