About

Built in Headford, for towns all over Ireland.

Baile (say it BAL-ya) is Irish for town, home and townland. It’s a small business with one job: giving towns a website they can actually keep.

Who’s behind it

Baile is run from Headford, Co. Galway, by a web developer and scout leader who builds sites for his own town. It started with Headford Online, built with HADA, our local development association.

We know what a committee meeting looks like at 10pm on a Tuesday, and how little time anyone has for “the website”. So we build sites that need very little of it.

Why we do it

Towns deserve better than a dead Facebook page. Most towns have loads going on, and people who’d love to know about it. But the information is scattered across posts, posters and people’s heads, and the old website stopped working years ago.

A good town website fixes that. It helps visitors find their way, helps new residents settle in, sends customers to local businesses, and shows funders what your volunteers have done.

Our promise

Plain prices

€2,000, once. Tools are €300 a year if you want them. That’s it.

No lock-in

Your town owns the web address, the code and the content. If you ever want to leave, you take it all with you.

No hosting bills

Hosting is free, so the site keeps running even if the money runs out.

Let’s talk about your town.

Book a 15-minute chat. No hard sell. Tell us about your town and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
